The Embassy of Republic of Türkiye would like to inform Nigerian nationals that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is launching e-Visa for Nigerian nationals starting from 16 September 2026.

In accordance with this new e-Visa application process, Nigerian nationals who will travel to TRNC need to first of all apply for e-Visa for TRNC to get their e-Visa number. After receiving the TRNC e-Visa number, they should apply to Turkish Transit Visa via Sefa Visa Center in Abuja or Lagos.

Please note that obtaining a TRNC e-Visa does not guarantee the issuance of a Turkish transit visa.
