Note on the work visa requirements

Foreigners will work in Turkey, have to apply to the Consular Section for work visa at least 45 days before the date of travel.

The following documents are initially required. Please be advised that further documentation may be requested if it is deemed necessary.

• Original and the copy of passport which will be at least 6 months valid from the date of application,
• The fully filled visa application form, (http://abuja.be.mfa.gov.tr/ShowInfoNotes.aspx?ID=228236)
• A passport photo (50x60mm, white background) attached to the visa application form,
• Contract between the employer and employee in Turkey,
• The official guarantee letter from the company in Turkey which includes the detailed information as the position/title of the visa applicant in the company, contact adress in Turkey, accommodation address, document shows the salary to be paid by the employer during his/her stay in Turkey, along with his/her personel information (passport number, National ID Card Number, date and place of brith, etc…

In the meantime, the employer shall apply to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLLS) of the Republic of Turkey within three working days from the applicaiton date.

Visa applications are proceeding on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM till 12:00 AM. Personel application is required and all the necessay documents must be original.
